Little Venice and Regents Park

We explored a few areas of town today. 1st up was Maida Vale, where we enjoyed an al fresco brunch at Baker & Spice, as we watched a local florist shuffle arrangements into her delivery van. I wanted to steal all of them, but decided against it. You know, not enough hands.

Our french toast and pancakes were followed by a much needed stroll around “Little Venice” – a series of canals filled with picturesque narrow boats. One of the boats even contained an adorable little cafe!

After a long walk along the canal, we stopped by Regent’s Park on our way home. We took in the gorgeous tree-lined walkways, bridges beside waterfalls, and the radiant rose garden. My scarce iPhone photos won’t do it justice, but it was beautiful! We didn’t quite make it to Primrose Hill or the zoo…so now we have an excuse to go back 😉
