Whenever I’m picking out a gift, I ask myself:
What are their hobbies/passions/interests? Here are some ideas to get you started: fitness, fishing, golfing, skiing, travel, movies, music, sports, cycling, fashion, cooking, camping/hiking, photography, boating, coffee/wine/beer, etc.
What do they need? Do they “need” a Netflix subscription, now that they are spending more time at home social-distancing? Is there a new product/technology that would make their life easier? Are they headed on a tropical vacation where they might need a swimsuit or sandals? Did their favorite jacket get a hole in it? Do they have a bad back that could use a massage? Is there a skill they want to learn? Are they starting to work from home and need some accessories/tools for their home office?
Would they want something sentimental? i.e. A canvas print from a vacation or special memory, a trip to a somewhere special, a party or small gathering with friends or family, a rendering of a home/place/car, a family heirloom, a photo book, digitized home videos, something custom/engraved, or a shadowbox with a sentimental item.
