One skirt, five ways! It’s so important to buy versatile pieces that you can wear over and over again. But wearing the same item on repeat might make you feel like your outfits are getting a bit stale. We all need a little inspiration every now and then. That’s why I’m sharing five unique ways to style a mini skirt!
1. Graphic Tee and Sneakers
Have a graphic tee or an old band shirt that hasn’t seen the light of day in quite some time? Bring those babies out and give them a little love! Tuck your t-shirt of choice into your skirt (you can pull some excess fabric out and fold it over the top of the skirt if you like), and pair it with your favorite sneakers. My most worn pair are these converse. I love them because instead of having the traditional stripe across the bottom of the shoe, these ones are ALL white! This is a great, casual look for a weekend afternoon at the farmer’s market or to wear while exploring a new city.

2. Bodysuit and Heeled Sandal
Bodysuits are another versatile item that you can pair with jeans, trousers, sweatpants, shorts, and skirts! Pick a sleek or feminine bodysuit to wear under your mini skirt and pair it with some heeled sandals for a polished look. Rock this outfit to brunch with your babes – OR pair your bodysuit with a black mini skirt and black heels for a date night look.

3. Blazer, Basic T-shirt, and Booties
Elevate your basic t-shirt by tucking it into a mini skirt, adding a solid/plaid/checked blazer, and some block heel booties. This is a great transitional outfit as we move between summer and fall. Perfect for cooler summer days or warmer fall days!

4. Crop Top and Sandals
Keep it casual with a crop top and sandals! This look will definitely keep you cool on warmer days or while vacationing somewhere tropical. It’s super easy to spice up this look with fun accessories!

5. Sweater and Thigh High Boots
Wondering how to wear a mini skirt in winter? I got you! This look can be done with so many different sweater styles. Rock a fitted turtle neck tucked into your skirt or an oversized knit. Oversized sweaters can be left fully untucked or with a partial “french tuck” in the front of the skirt. Depending on the weather, you can throw on tights or keep your legs bare. Lastly, finish the look with some thigh high boots. Most of my sweaters are packed away right now, but I can’t wait to recreate this look with a chunky knit!

I LOOOVE THIS! Skirts are super versatile. I usually would only wear skirts to work and they would normally be long/appropriate for work type things. I would literally wear every single look. My fave atm would probably be the first. I’ve been obsessed with graphic tees for summer 🤩. Thanks for sharing doll!!
