Winter time can be tough on your skin! If the cold weather is causing dryness and irritation, it’s time to mix up your routine. I’m sharing 5 of my winter skin care favorites to help get you through this season!
Lips
1. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
Fight dryness and fine lines with this 2019 “Allure Best of Beauty” award winner! It’s a paraben and cruelty-free, leave-on, overnight lip mask. Choose from your favorite scent, and wake up with moisturized and refreshed lips!
Face
2. Avene Skin Recovery Cream
I’ve been using this facial cream for a few years. It was recommended by my dermatologist. I apply it in the evening when my skin is feeling extra dry, tight, or irritated. In the morning, my skin texture is so much better!
Body
3. Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter
This body butter feels luxe. It is so rich and creamy! I love the texture, and it’s perfect to apply all-over your arms and legs after a shower. The formula contains cocoa butter and naturally derived antioxidants.
4. Palmer’s Natural Vitamin E Concentrated Cream
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak, I’ve been using hand sanitizer non-stop. This majorly dries out my skin! So I picked up this hand cream from Target in March to carry in my bag and it has worked wonders! It has an ultra thick consistency and I feel immediate relief after applying it. It’s super affordable too (only $5)!
5. Aquaphor Healing Ointment
This is fragrance-free ointment is another product that is great to carry in your purse. It’s a Winter skin care essential! You can apply it to your cuticles and around the sides of your nails where skin can get dry and cracked during the winter months. I’m not the only one who swears by it – check out the 4,000 + reviews on Amazon that gave it a 4.8 out of 5 star rating.
